From 23 October to 19 November, fans can get their hands on the exclusive “HUNTER Character Blind Card Packs”, available across all McDonald’s Taiwan outlets. With just a NT$89 top-up on any food purchase (excluding sauces or non-retail items), customers receive a mystery pack containing four randomly selected character cards. With 25 designs in total — including a rare “SP Dream Hidden Diamond Black Card” — this promotion is a must for collectors and long-time HUNTER×HUNTER devotees.
The character cards are categorised into four tiers of rarity:
– SP (Special): A singular ultra-rare holographic black card.
– SSR (Super Super Rare): 6 gold-finish “Legendary Hunter” cards featuring beloved characters such as Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Leorio, Hisoka, and Chrollo.
– SR (Super Rare): 6 silver cards showcasing favourites like Netero, Biscuit, and Meruem.
– R (Rare): 12 bronze-tone cards spotlighting classic supporting characters, including Uvogin, Pakunoda, and Alluka.
But the surprises don’t stop there. Beginning 30 October, McDonald’s will also release 190,000 sets of limited-edition HUNTER×HUNTER “BOOK”playing cards, inspired by the “Greed Island” arc from the anime. These exclusive decks will be gifted with the purchase of a McDonald’s Share Box and a selected Buy-One-Get-One-Free drink pairing, or through designated Share Meals ordered via McDelivery.
In addition, McDonald’s Spicy Mala Chicken McNuggets — available in 6-piece and 10-piece boxes — have received a HUNTER×HUNTER makeover, featuring exclusive themed packaging and chibi-style illustrations.
Whether you’re after the cards, the collectable packaging, or just a unique dining experience with a nostalgic anime twist, this HUNTER×HUNTER collaboration promises to thrill fans young and old.
