金九月饼主要的原材料取自国内不同地区最优质的榄仁、核桃仁、瓜子仁、杏仁、芝麻仁等果仁和金华火腿以及秘制晾肉、秘制糖肉等多达十几种材料，其中秘制晾肉、秘制糖肉是金九月饼所特有的、是采用独特的配方和传统工艺制作而成。
